Thanks so much for scanning over to my page. I hope you’ll also come visit me at Dragon*Con 2012 in Booth 100-102 in the Marriott Marquis Ballroom for signed books and swag!
By way of introduction, I’m the author of the Vamped series of young adult novels (think Clueless meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and the Latter-Day Olympians urban fantasy series. I’m also a fangirl, travel-junkie, Brown Coat and sarcastic wench. I hope you’ll check out the Free short story in my Vamped world and that you’ll want to move on to looking up some of my books!
I’m also proud to release the Music Video for my Vamped series, which debuted at Dragon*Con in 2011. The song is called “No Reflection” and it was written and produced especially for my series by the talented people at MTP Productions, featuring the remarkable artist Catriona.
A little about my books:
Tori Karacis is a little more than your average private eye. Among other things, her family line may or may not trace back to a drunken liaison between the god Pan and one of the immortal gorgons. It may be just coincidence that her glance can literally stop men in their tracks, or that her family sports enough irregularities to keep the Rialto Bros. Circus in business. Then again, maybe not. “Bad Blood is a delightful urban fantasy, a clever mix of Janet Evanovich and Rick Riordan, and a true Lucienne Diver original.”—Long and Short Reviews
Just weeks after P.I. Tori Karacis prevented rogue gods from blowing L.A. into the ocean, more dead bodies are turning up near the leftover crater…bodies that have been shredded by something too big to be, shall we say, of this world? Worse, her mentor Uncle Christos has disappeared after stumbling onto a deadly cult masquerading as the Back to Earth movement.
From “Valley Vamp Rules for Surviving Your Senior Prom” by fashionista Gina Covello
#1. Do not get so loaded at the after prom party that you accidentally-on-purpose end up in the broom closet with the surprise hottie of the evening, say the class chess champ who’s somewhere lost his bottle-cap lenses and undergone an extreme makeover, especially if that makeover has anything to do with becoming one of the undead.
Gina Covello has a problem. Waking up a dead is just the beginning. (Read More)
“Diver uses wit and adventure to hook readers with this teen vampire story.” —VOYA
In ReVamped, Gina and her boyfriend Bobby are sent undercover to infiltrate a New York high school where some seriously weird stuff is going down. Worse than that, Gina’s new super-secret identity is as goth-girl Geneva Belfry. No color palette to speak of. More chains than a bike rack. And don’t even get her started on the shoes. At least fangs are always in fashion.
“Perfect for teens and adults, this is a book to share, savor and revisit. ReVamped is full of smart, spot-on dialogue, engaging, authentic characters and a plot that’s so much fun it’s impossible not get swept up.” —Examiner.com
Gina Covello, heroine of Vamped and Revamped, has to face a cadre of killer kids in this third novel. Her new mission puts her smack dab in the middle of the sunshine state, bitter-sweet since her tanning options are now eternally non-existent. She, her boyfriend Bobby, and her BFF Marcy must face off with vampire lifestylers, including the steampunk Burgess Brigade, some of whom have gone rogue and decided to start their own little Manson family. If that’s not enough to handle, the Feds want Gina to get in good with the true vampires running the clubs the kids frequent to find out what deeper doings might be behind it all. Only Gina starts to suspect that her own handlers at the spy shop aren’t completely on the up and up and that the bad guys aren’t all she has to investigate.
